Red solid (under age 7)

Yellow with white stripe
Yellow with black stripe
Yellow solid

Orange with white stripe
Orange with black stripe
Orange solid

Green with white stripe
Green with black stripe
Green solid

Junior Black Belt
Next belt would be adult Blue Belt when the child reaches minimum age requirements.



Stripes:
White Stripes awarded for attendance (1 month) + technical knowledge.
Four white stripes required for belt advancement.

Black stripes are used for White Belts.

Black Belt (Dan) ranks
1st Degree Black Belt
2nd Degree Black Belt - 3 years after 1st Dan
3rd Degree Black Belt - 3 years after 2nd Dan

4th Degree Black Belt - 5 years after 3rd Dan
5th Degree Black Belt - 5 years after 4th Dan
6th Degree Black Belt - 5 years after 5th Dan
7th Degree Black Belt - 5 years after 6th Dan (and minimum age 45)
8th Degree Black Belt - 5 years after 7th Dan (and minimum age 50)

​9th Degree Black Belt - 10 years after 8th Dan (and minimum age 55) and election after great service done for the art, and 3 special qualifications.
10th Degree Black Belt - 10 years after 9th Dan (and minimum age 65) and election to post.
Only one 10th Dan at a time, if any.
